I LOVED driving the 2023 Ford Ranger Sport Double Cab Ute, as a BabyDrive!

Advert: CarHistory

These are my top three favourite family features:

  1. Number one is the rear seats, there are ISOFix and top tether anchorages for the outer rear seats only which I found really easy to access and use to install two Infasecure child seats, There is lots of headroom and interior space so it makes it easier. The top tether anchorages are metal bars and are easy to access and attach to. I could also put an Infasecure Versatile Folding Booster seat in the central rear seat because it does not require a top tether anchorage. We found a 180cm driver or passenger can sit in front of a rear-facing child seat.
  2. Storage is great in the new Ford Ranger, there are pockets in the front of the central rear seat base for phones, and front passengers get the usual storage with some extras like a holder for hot chips! There is a glasses case in the ceiling which I am glad to see there as it is lacking in most new cars and the tray has a ruler along the edge of the tray door so there is no more lying about your fish being “this big”!!
  3. The 2023 Ford Ranger has a very fancy new media screen which brings it up to date. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and you can customise the car's settings to your liking. It also has a sketch game where the kids can draw while you are waiting in the car at school pick-ups etc. The reversing camera is lovely and clear and you can easily turn off the parking sensors with a button in the central console.
